I am starting my college semester full time, and I am also going to be working full time. I will be so busy, but I can fit in 3 days a week of working out. So what if I worked out for an hour 3 days a week? Like 30 minutes of cardio, 30 minutes of strength training, an hour each day. Will that help me lose weight? I know I have to eat healthy, and I do, but I workout 5 times a week for an hour, and I am definitely going to have to cut that when I start my semester to 3 days a week. I am just scared I won't lose weight

According to me, 3 days workout is good if you will follow it regularly. Don't forget to eat healthy diet, even make a diet plan. It will take time but you will surely loose weight. All the best for it.

Exercises such as cardio and weight training are very good for your health, but will do little to help you lose weight. The weight loss is 95% what you're eating.

THIS, a million times this. Exercise is essential for good health, but weight loss stems mainly from what you are putting in your mouth.

I plan to test this question in January. I'll let you know if it helps speed up my weight loss of on average, one pound per week by simply counting calories.

Glad to see this mentioned, it's the greatest myth out that there exercise is more important than diet to lose weight. Most people won't ever exercise enough to make a significant dent in their daily calorie balance, you have to be running for an hour to achieve that.

Excercise doesn't help me loose weight. Lifting/building muscle will help you look better though, plus its good for you. But your diet is by far the most important element of weight loss.

You can exercise until the cows come home but if you are not burning more calories than you are taking in you will never lose weight.

yes it sure will it has worked out for me. Just start the work out and control your diet and it will be smooth sailing. But do it steadily do not skip your three days.
