Hi, I'm trying to loose weight, but one of my biggest issues is WHAT to eat for breakfast. I absolutely hate the smell and taste of eggs they make me nauseous. People say eggs are so good for you and they are great food for protein. I don't really like cereal with milk either because it makes me hungrier. Does anyone have any ideas besides smoothies?

You don't have to eat "breakfast food" for breakfast. Have a salad. Have some soup. Have some chicken and vegetables. Whatever you've got around.

You could try a tofu scramble--high in protein, low in calories. 100 grams of firm tofu has about 75 calories and 8 grams of protein.

I like fresh ground peanut butter on whole wheat bread with good jam or honey. Use top quality ingredients and you'll be surprised how good it is.

You can have a turkey and bacon sandwich, smoked salmon, leftovers of all kinds, fruit and cheese, nuts, or meusli with soy milk. Greek yogurt has about 18 grams of protein. Mix it with fresh fruit.

Sometimes I have a small bite to eat with my coffee and then something more substantial in an hour or so.

Thanks that gave me some ideas!

I love eggs but don't eat them every day. On the days I reach for something else it's usually one or two of these: oats, whole grain toast with butter, yogurt, fresh fruit, vegetable juice made with my juicer, whole grain pancakes or waffles from scratch with real maple syrup, or rice cakes with peanut butter and preserves.

Edit: almost forgot the whole grain bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon.

I love greek yogurt! I add fruit, nuts or chia seeds. Sometimes granola.

Avocado toast is also great and packed with fiber: grab a slice of whole grainbread, toast it and mash half an avocado with salt, lime or lemon and your fave spices. A crumbled slice of bacon is a nice addition too. I like cayenne or togarashi.

My other hippie favorite is a chia seed pudding. Good fiber and protein. Also really filling: your fave milk substitue or canned coconut milk + 2 tablespoons of chia (3x liquid) + a little sweetener + fruit and nuts

Qunioa is a tasty hot cereal option instead of oatmeal.

Try a baked sweet potato with a spritz or lemon or orange and cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice or chinese 5 spice and salt. A dollop of greek yogurt is nice too.
