I can really only stomach coffee in the early morning. Later on, when my stomach wakes up, I usually have high fiber cereal, oatmeal, fruit, toast or yogurt. I do the eggs and potato thing (as well as waffles and pancakes) for brunch or dinner when I'm really hungry! Breakfast-for-dinner is the best.

Growing up our favorite Friday night dinner was country ham, red eye gravy, grits, eggs and mom's homemade biscuits..

Eat whatever you like. I'm not sure who decided that some foods are only "breakfast" foods, some are only "dinner" foods....

So be daring! Break the "rules"!

Eat whatever sounds good, whether that's a smoothie or a roast beef sandwich or anything in between.

I had a some sausage/black olive pizza for breakfast the other morning. Awesome!

Hi, I'm trying to loose weight,
That eliminates jams and waffles and several other things.

My breakfast is two slices of my home made whole wheat bread (with sunflower and linseed and no sugar) with soft margarine and half an avocado per slice. I have the same for morning tea and lunch. I don't have anymore weight to lose. (I don't have any carbs for dinner).

I eat jam and waffles occasionally and have been able to lose weight as well as keep it off.

The waffles are made from scratch using whole wheat. I put preserves and/or peanut butter on rice cakes almost every day at work.

Qunioa is a tasty hot cereal option instead of oatmeal.
Huh...guacamole on toast with bacon...that sounds pretty darn yummy! I might have to try that (with turkey bacon).

And forgot about quinoa. I cook it with cinnamon and some diced apple...very filling!

I have to second the peanut butter on wheat toast. I'll eat that any time of day. I find I also like to have golden delicious apple slices with it, and maybe some sliced cheddar cheese. In fact, that sounds good, I'm going to go and have that for dinner, I think.

I have had quite a few variations of avocado toast: sliced avocado with ricotta and olive oil, plain avocado and salt, avocado and chopped almomds, avocado and eggs....

The possibilities are endless.

i think you can use some oats and milk ; that would be a nicm watre.
You can equally try and have some lime in luke warm water ; in the morning ; that should be nice as a replacement for the smootie

I used to eat left over suppers....often heated in a fry pan with butter....that's why I am on a diet now! lol

My breakfasts now are varied....some mornings whole grain cereal and fruit, or yogurt or cottage cheese with fresh fruit, or salad with drained tuna fish and lemon juice and a tiny bit of oil for dressing; or Wasa flat bread with cottage cheese (low fat).....that hasn't been hard for me.
