I am very excited because I have lost 5 pounds since February 9th! Even with a week of vacation, I have made steady progress. I have been going to the gym, working with a trainer two days a week and doing cardio almost every day.

I use my Bodymedia to count calories, calories expended and log my calories. It also tracks my sleep. It helps me be accountable. I think a fitness tracker really helps.

My husband is being supportive and we are eating healthier. I am trying to get more fiber into my diet. He even comes to the gym with me to go cardio.

That's great!

I've been thinking about a fitness tracker but I couldn't decide which one to get.

I really enjoy (and I think I benefit from) mine, but they don't make it anymore. There are really good ones on the market though, and the new ones will only get better.

I like looking at the graph it generates to show weight loss! ☺

I have a fitbit one and I really like it. I like that it is tiny. I wear it in the band of my bra and you can't even tell it's there. I think it's pretty accurate as well. I used the bracelet it came with for sleeping, but eventually it wore out. I ended up getting a new bracelet on Etsy that's more comfortable.

For me at least, it is worth the cost because it motivates me to walk more.

I bought a fitbit for my husband for one of his Christmas presents...he likes 'gadgets/toys'. He's been very compliant on how many steps he takes per day and now insists I walk with him. This is a good thing as I need the exercise too.
