The OP tried to push off this dietdoctor fad diet to another CD member here touting how much success she's had on it. It's a fad no-good non-healthy diet.

It was proven in the US to be very dangerous, and was pulled from the market. Now, a modified form of it seems to be back, but it's still not recommended. You wouldn't want it in Canada.
If you need to "lose some serious weight" as you say, then you need to pick up a few books on healthy eating and start working out immediately.
Between this thread that YOU started (and not participating in) and another post where you advised another CD member to go on a "low carb / high fat diet" to lose weight its obvious that you have absolutely ZERO idea of what you are doing and really should not be offering advice to anyone here.
Pills for weight loss dont work. Low carb high fat diet for weight loss wont work. Healthy eating and as vigorous exercise as possible is what WILL work.
Um, yes it does. I've been doing the keto diet for about three months now. Very low carb and everything is cooked with coconut oil or other healthy fats (nuts, butters etc). I have dropped a little over 50 lbs and I'm still losing weight.
