Congrats! That really is a big achievement. I hope that by the end of the year, I can post something similar.

Oh, that is great! I am losing very slowly and have been at 203 for several weeks. I am so looking forward to being under 200 soon.

The wight is still coming off slower now I'm at 195-198 depending on the time if the day I weigh in. I know it will take time if I push to hard easy to fall back into the old ways. Toughest thing now is staying away from old way of eating I will smell burger place remember how good it tasted. I started when a co-worker at work he was 350lbs and went on paleo diet he lost about 40lbs but now he stopped going to the gym and is eating junk food again. Lunch time is tough people always want to go somewhere I used to eat junk food at. Once I eat a salad I don't feel hungry I'm glad I made the that choice. I miss a gym night I go the next morning to make up. The real goal is long term not quick loss and gain it back again.

Unfortunately, diets almost never work. You reach a goal - or come close to it - and suddenly you fall back into old habits.

A doctor once said "your fat body wants to come back - it's pounding on the door - it's gonna try to break in if necessary!"

Don't be discouraged if you start putting weight back on.Take baby steps. Start all over again. If you were 245 pounds and went down to 195 and now you're back to 210 ... don't ever say to yourself "I'm a failure! I'm a worthless POS! I'll never be under 200 again!" Instead set a realistic goal of getting down to 205! Once you're at 205 it will be easier for you to say "I managed to lose 5 pounds! Let's try to lose just 5 more!"

I don't call it a diet it's a life change for me won't go back to the way I was I think the wake call for me was when I got my sleep study and was told that my o2 levels drop to 80% from sleep apnea I could have a stroke or heart attack while sleeping. The good thing is since I have lost some weight my neck size went down 1 inch and I no longer snore at night just finished a home sleep study doctor wants to see if the sleep apnea went away I can give up my CPap. I just found it crazy how I had led myself to having sleep with a Cpap machine because I had gained so much weight. I never really could get used to sleeping with the CPAP on anyway.

It hit home when I went to get my sleep study at the clinic saw all the other people getting their study's were extremely overweight 100 lbs or more one guy was short like me 5'7 and he looked to be about 350lbs I thought that will be me in my 50's. He was breathing so hard just just walk down the hall way.

Having issues with being stuck at 197 the exercise I'm doing is now easy to do I need to step it up some. This is the tough part I'm into this weight loss since May of this year and now things are slowing. Out of town trips easy to over eat while company is paying for my meals. Have to remember the longer haul I think this is where people start to fall back into old ways.
