You don't have to have IT...change that biscuit and muffin to beautiful green romaine lettuce leaves for wraps...I stopped bringing breads into my house probably 7 yrs ago and don't miss it for a second...but I buy plenty of organic romaine lettuce. I don't know of diabetes in my family and don't want to even think of it for me.

It's all in the mindset. If you are not in the right frame of mind to loose weight you aren't going to simple as that. I have always had to watch my weight. WW has been the best for me because it's not restrictive, however that being said I don't have fast food breakfast sandwiches even though I like them and want them I don't need them. No one needs a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, they just want it. We have diabetes on both sides of the family, my husband included. I recently decided to modify how I eat on WW because I fell off the band wagon. ( I was down about 50 lbs. in 2013) put back about 20 lbs. I am now down 32 because I cut out processed carbs, I don't eat sandwiches on bread/wraps, no rice, pasta or potatoes. It's 3 weeks now and let me tell you there are a lot of recipes out there or foods that I make that don't need all of that. Both hubby and I feel satisfied because we are eating high protein, low carb, low fat. I also work at Subway restaurant. I stopped snacking on chips and cookies there and I don't eat the bread, All I eat is salads. I do have for a snack WW bars that they sell at the meetings. I eat fruit. I only snack once a day during the week and twice on the weekend. I eat yogurt with a banana and 1/3 cup granola every morning. I am finding that I am not as hungry, sluggish or tired. I also ride my bike to work a few days a week (2 miles each way).Hubby has not weighed himself yet but I can see he's lost weight. he needs to loose a lot more than me and get his sugars down. I have gone from a size 18 to a 14. I don't gasp for air when I bend down to tie my shoes. What's more important? That breakfast sandwich or fitting into smaller clothes and feeling better. You choose. Good Luck! I did not mean to come off harsh I am just a realist. I hope you find success in what ever weight loss plan you choose. Keep exercising and drink a lot of water, cut out soda if you haven't already.

Lots of good advice, thanks. I am definitely more focused now than I've been before. I enjoy low fat yogurt for breakfast and taking walks.
