Good to see you posting, I give you a big E for effort on your English. True about keeping the stuff out of the house, I live alone so it's much easier. Just don't buy it...

It doesn’t work for everyone, just like anything else. It does require a modicum of discipline but that goes for anything diet related. I eat pretty darn healthy most days of the week but once a week I will eat whatever.
I don’t do well with deprivation. That’s a recipe for failure as far as I’m concerned.

Agreed. I don't do cheat days, but I do fit delicious foods into my every day life. I have a delicious dessert every evening that I look forward to and is my reward for making good choices throughout the day. Every calorie I eat is basically delicious. I make them all count! I worked to make those calories healthier over the years, and I still love them all. I enjoy every bite!
I can eat anything I want, I just can't eat everything I want!

This is my approach too and it has proved successful for me. I tried Keto and low carb and failed miserably on both. Atkins I actually managed for 6 months. For the first two months it was easy then it became a chore.
For my success I must have all foods open to me. I am going on 10 years keeping off that 40 pounds. I do gain and lose between 5 and 8 pounds a year.
I’m like this with wine, if it’s in the house I’ll have a glass every night. It’s much easier if I just don’t buy it.
Wine is the hardest for me. But generally my husband and I take the first 2 or 3 months off the year and abstain completely. I work in the wine industry in wine country. Wine is our culture here. A lot of our friends take the first few months off as well. We may have a mulligan if there is a special event.
I have to do cheat days, just not too many. Just had one yesterday... the last holiday dinner.
I'm finding that I can't eat as much as I did before. My weight gains on the recent free days are a fraction of what they've been in the past.
IF having something to do with that? It is the one thing that's different.
No need to apologize- it's better than my Croatian!
Well eaven tho i apologized some people gave me **** as you can see.
