Sorry things have been rough for you Lucy. Not sleeping well does seem to muddle up everything. Sounds like a free day is a good idea. Enjoy!

18:6 yesterday. I was having an off day also, my fast went fine, but because I was stressed I was way more hungry than normal, the temptation to snack was high. Made it through, but I am becoming much more in tune with how my emotions can make me feel more hungry and how to compensate for that in the future.

I'm probably going to do another 24 hour fast today. It's almost lunch and I'm just not feeling it. We shall see.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

'Free' day yesterday. Went totally overboard, so I'll be avoiding the scale for a few days.

Planning OMAD today - but might make it 22:2 instead of 23:1. I stopped eating at 6:30 last night (tacos for dinner!) so I'm aiming for at least 4:30 today. We shall see!

I'm in good shape going into my Friday fast, only a little over a pound above my record low.
Looking forward to a good weigh-in on Saturday... there's even an outside chance of getting into the 170's.

If that happens, it would be more than a week ahead of schedule.
The goal is to be under 180 by the end of April, 170 by the end of June and goal weight of 165 achieved by the end of July.

There's a possibility that I may change my goal weight to 160 by the end of August, one year into this journey.

19 hour fast yesterday. I meant to do 20, but I mis-remembered the time. Doh!

All good. Happy Easter weekend - I wish chocolate bunnies on us all! (as many, or as few, as we would all prefer!)

No bunnies, but my wife had some chocolate covered strawberries.
She ate too many and got sick, so the there were some left.
I ate a small one.

Now the good news... 179.9 lbs, ten days ahead of schedule.
I would like to thank Jewel Cheap Chicken and Sam's Club Turkey Boob for this achievement.

I have 12 weigh-ins before I go to a Cubs game on July 17.
It only took me a little over 7 weeks to lose this last 10 lbs.
If I weigh 165 on July 13, there's gonna be a hell of a party at the old ball game.

I'm still fasting... this one's going to go 48 hrs.
Going out to dinner tonight but I've already looked at the menu and will be compliant.
Grilled jumbo shrimp, signature salad with ranch dressing, veggie medley. I'll have some blackberries when I get home.

No OMAD tomorrow. Don't know how much I'll eat, though.
80 degrees tomorrow. Car show season is just a week away, so I'm going to be out there polishing.

Ooh, chocolate covered strawberries are so delightful!

17 hour fast yesterday. And Easter breakfast with my family done!

Easter dinner tonight - aiming for a 23 hour fast. Aided by a noontime movie. We shall see!

I think I will do OMAD today. I've got stuff to do outside.
Some of my kin think I've lost enough weight, but I'm still taking diabetes drugs.

I take a lot less, but I still take them. So I'm not going to stop.
Got some new pants yesterday. They're 6" smaller than than when I started.
When I'm done, it'll probably be 8".

I went to my eye doctor Friday. She monitors my eyes for any diabetic changes.
She had a baby a few years ago and never lost the baby weight.
She's not fat, just more than she was. So she wanted to know how I've done this.
She's very, very smart and we both talk fast. It was one very rapid back n forth conversation.

For her, like for most people, it was too much, too hard.
I generally suggest just trying some of it. It's better than doing nothing.

Now I get to see her once a year instead of every 6 months. More progress!!
I guess in a year we'll see if she was able to find something that worked for her.

I'm down to just 4 doctor appointments a year now.
GP once, Ophthalmologist once, Oncologist once, Endocrinologist twice.
I think that's as low as it's going to get.
