Default Breaking a diet to help a diet ?

Do you believe the theory that if you are on a diet too long your body "adjusts" and the weight loss slows down or stops coming off?

I'm on a reduced calorie plan but one day a week I go "off" without going nuts

It seems this is working better than ever and I actually lose weight after my slight indulgence day.

Any thoughts?

I totally agree with this. If you reduce your caloric intake 6 days a week, increase it on the 7th day. You will always lose weight again a bit more rapidly after that day.
