Anyone else seem to be always hungry?? Anyone ever try a legitimate appetite supressant? I know the ones over the counter that are available usually inlclude Hoodia or Carcinia Cambogia. Anyone ever have any success with these?

Good question. I fight hunger and I will be watching this thread for suggestions other than exercise and diet (already do those).

In my opinion, I think more people will be successul in their diets if they weren't hungry 2 hours later. I know there are things to do to limit hunger, but after a while they just don't work as well.

Yeah, I know what you mean. now that Ephedra is "outlawed" I do not believe that there is anything (pill / product wise) that really works. But a few tips. . . Protien. . . lots of protien does supress hunger for quite a while longer than either carbs or fats. Also, moderate (or brief strenuous) exercise works well for some. I have recently joined "Curves", love the workouts, the supportive atmoshpere, etc. It has now been proven what many of us have known for years. . . the low carb diets really do work better, and produce better long term health results.

Yes I enjoyed the Atkins diet meat menu, but could not live without bread. Agreed, meat does keep you full, or at least content, longer.

When your body is hungry....truly hungry, not bored or depressed or whatever but truly hungry it's bcs it's asking for a nutrient that it's not getting....What happens is you get hungry, you eat impulsivly and you gain weight but your still always hungry bcs 1. your body isn't getting the nutrient it's craving and 2. if your eating unhealthy foods that don't keep you full for long of course you will be hungry. This is why they invented the pyramid.....always be sure you are fortifying your body with all needed nutrients and you really shouldn't be hungry as long as you do this and maintain your DCI....which should never be too low anway.
