Before and After Picture challenge
Ok, here goes.
Pick a future date and write it here.
On or around that date you HAVE to post both the before and after picture of yourself for ALL to see. The idea here being that you have something to work towards etc. maybe a sense of urgency and most importantly, peer support.
Some of us prefer a level of anonymity so you could say that you will post up your pics for just one day to your profile and then delete them etc. etc.
I will start it off by selecting December 14. That is 5 more weeks which should see me around 180lbs (220+ starting weight, 194 current weight, 175ish goal weight????). I won't be all the way done but I should at least look fairly close to it by that point.
FYI- I am not a kid, I'm 38, a single parent of two and work a full time job so no excuses people...if you really want it, it will happen. Let's get this done.
I reserve the right to pull out if it turns out no one else wants in on this.

I probably won't post a pic, but if you're looking for a buddy to help stay motivated, maybe I can help. We can trade progress stats each week or something like that.

I don't see too many people jumping to post their fatso pictures.
Really, it's not something most of us want to share with the public.

Nah it's ok, this thread is DOA.
I can't fathom being more motivated, I actually past motivated now....it's not a question of "if" with me, I've already made my lifestyle changes it's just *happening* now and needs another 6-8weeks depending. 30lbs lost in about 3 months, my diet is very very healthy and I work out about 5 times a week with increasing intensity as I've gotten more fit...starting to work weights in more with the cardio.

well, with responses like these, not sure why you want certain type of posters remarking on your pictures.
I like CD, but some of the people that post here are insensitive fools. there ARE sites and forums where before and after pictures are common and welcomed w/o criticism (I'm a member of a pet forum where a member has been discussing her weight loss journey in an OT forum), but CD isn't it (pity)

I have my fatso pics, for my own viewing! I decided to lose weight at 205 lbs, - took a pic of me in my underwear every 5 to 10 lb weight loss... Now I can always look back at my progress! But I regret not taking measurements of my waist, bust, hips, and wrist circumference as I lost weight!

AWESOME! How much total have you lost now?
Have you shared your plan\success in any of the other threads? If not, please consider doing that...it's good for everyone.

I went from 205 lbs to as low as 139 lbs, but my weight plateau is 142lbs or else lots of exercise and more dieting. 145 lbs - easy exercise and ok diet.
My weight loss was mostly burned off through 2 years / 5030 miles of road bike workouts. Will post my weight loss and maintenance thread in the future.
I overate Xmas last year and didn't exercise much this year so I'm at 150 lbs today, 5 lbs overweight for me.
