I could put it away too and this is what I did when faced with the dreaded sweetie treatie cravings...
Cravings last 15 minutes. So when you get one...Look at the clock and wait 15 minutes before making any move towards eating that crap. If you don't have anything to do look up the nutritional info of that item and see if its worth it. Also look around for a lower calorie or lower fat or just plain healthy version of the same flavor you like.
When your 15 minutes are up drink two glasses of water (you can do this while waiting too if you want)
Eat something with high fiber and a bite of lean protein( i just roll up turkey meat or eat a handful of almonds) Dehydration can be confused with hunger/cravings because they feel the same. Two glasses of water is a time old diet trick that even the military uses to not overeat. Fiber will regulate your blood sugar and make you feel full. So any sugar snack you might eat after will be better tolerated by your body and better for continued loss. General diet advice is to totally stay away from treats for the first week or two as to avoid the "whole box chomp"

Seriously everyone does it pretty much. So don't feel badly.
Go get your temptation if you still really want it. BUT stay in your calorie guidelines. If they dont have what you want go somewhere else to get exactly what you want.A little sweet talk goes a long way. I will tell a worker that I am on a diet and apologize and ask them to break up a large pack. I have even done this with meat at the butcher for spoilage reasons.
They dont seem to care if you say "yeah I know this is annoying but" And it usually develops into a nice little dieting convo while they make-up your package.
CCH is right. Sugar is poison and chemically addictive. I dont try to live pure because I know its not happening for me just yet. I got to a healthy stage just by being reasonable. But back to the sugar being poison....If you google it up you can find a lot of alternative health stuff...But that aside the thing I noticed more than anything is the continued consumption of sugar created cravings in me to the point of where when I was tracking my diet it became laughingly predictable at what happens. Its kinda creepy how much white sugar can make you think of foods. Fruit sugar doesnt do that to me at all. But white sugar...well sometimes I have to do a couple low carb days or tons of fruit after a high white sugar day to flush out the cravings.
And for next time..I would bookmark this thread and come back when a craving hits you. You can read between your own lines and see all the personal things you are not just putting out there for us..But for you it will remind you of why KK is bad idea for you perhaps.
Good Luck!
