Trying Xenadrine Ultra for the first time!
I quit smoking almost a year ago and have gained quite a bit of weight....over 30 lbs. I only eat one meal a day, but do snack. My snacks consisted of a 16 oz moca (the wife got me hooked on those  ), maybe a handful of cookies and some summer sausage, cheese and crackers at night (I work grave yard). I started going to the gym about 1 and half months ago and stopped most of the snacking. I am not loosing weight, but have stopped gaining.....which drives me nuts, because I am going to the gym and have cut out the sweets....for the most part. I did notice I have a constant hunger pain (that is what it feels like), even after eating supper. I was having a alot of heart burn too. I went to my doc and he said to start using Prilosec for the heart burn and for the hunger pains....may be related. I also stated using Maalox to help with the hunger pains and it does help some. As far as the weight loss, I figured I needed some help, and my doc recommended more time at the gym and to eat at least 5 times a day!!??? Ok.....he explained why I needed to eat more, to let my body know I'm not in a starvation environment. I already spend about an hour a day, 4-6 days a week in the gym and don't want to go any more than that, so I figured maybe some of these weight loss pills might help enough to get some weight off....Ya, I know this may not work, but I'm ready to start smoking again just to get this weight off, so this is a last resort. I picked Xenadrine, because there were people, on the net, who said it helped some and it was the only one, other than Alli, that my local drug store had. Xenadrine instructed me to also use a multi vitamin, so I got some.
I was searching, on the net, to find out what others are doing, but was not able to find much that pertained to me, so I thought I would post my story, if for nothing else, for me to look back at and see what is working and what is not.
Current weight is 277
Short term goal is 250
Long term goal is 210
Tues morning, went to the gym and ran on tread mill for 2 miles
Evening meal was meatloaf, broccoli and potatoes.
1 Xenadrine pill (said to take one pill 15 min before meal time for the first 3 days, then go to 2 pills before each meal.)
Oh, and lots of coffee is normal for me.
If some of the times don't make sense to some people, I work from 10:30 pm to 8 am most days. Go to the gym from 8:15 to 9:15. I sleep from about 10am to 4 or 4:30 pm. Get up shower, eat the night meal about 6-7pm. After the night meal, I spend time on the computer and watching TV until I leave for work at 9:40 pm.

Second day.
WT: 275
2 miles on tread mill
Picked up pace at work, walking faster when going from place to place.
Snacks
Summer Sausage, cheese & crackers
small bag of cookies - oops!
one coke
banana
apple
I took the second Xenadrine Just before the Summer Sausage.
Bed time.

Evening meal is leftovers.
One Xenadrine and multi vitamin.
Small serving of meatloaf and Ribs
Broccoli and potatoes.
Several cups of coffee.
Off to work

Day Three
While at work:
Couple pieces of venison jerky
a little bit of Summer Sausage & Cheese
small bag of cookies
small bag of peanut m&m's
several cups of coffee
20 oz water
Forgot to take a snack, so I was hungry when I got home and had a 2 waffles (toaster kind) with butter
Got one 16 oz mocha on the way home, after the gym
Ran 2 miles on tread mile
WT: 277
Eating the waffles and a moca just before bed, shouldn't have happened. need to remember fruit and such for work, so I'm not so hungry before bed.

Woke up at Noon,
had two poached eggs on toast...forgot to take the Xebadrine, but took it after breakfast/lunch.
one multi vitimine.
Bought a mocha on the way to work. This is an early day: Slept from 6 am to 12 noon and to work at 1:30.

Took Pill
Evening meal was cheese burger, fries and coke. Had class and didn't take anything to eat. No snacks till just before bed, then had a yogurt.
No gym time - 10-15 min of sit ups....should have done more, but just went to bed instead.
WT: 277

Day Four:
Ran some errands,
Breakfast - 2 small home made wraps - chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, burrito wrap and mayo.
Yard work for an hour, some clean up in the house.
2 pills.
lunch had 6 little 2 inch pizza snacks........I need to work more on what I am eating.....too much junk. Problem is, I am eating what the wife buys....

Evening meal was two burritos, 4 cookies (kids made christmas cookies) and coffee. Forgot the pills, but do use some Maalox afterwards to stop the hunger pains.....which I don't think are hunger, but stomach problems, but then that is why I'm on Prilosec.

Day Five:
Sat. Went to the gym, upped my run to 2.5 miles......seemed to take for ever, thank god they have tv's on the tread mills.
Goal: Even though it is the holidays, need to eat less breads and sweets. Still only have about 3 mocha's a week, which is down from 1-2 per day. Someone was telling me I should eat less meat, but I read meat is filling and you shouldn't get hungry as soon after eating with meat, than you will with eating pasta of some sort...........

Took two pills 2 hrs before, ate later than I thought I would.
Went Christmas shopping. For lunch had cheese burger, fri's and coke....
Took two pills.
Evening meal was chicken stir fri and milk......should cut out the milk.
Snack, two cookies.....

Day Six:
Ran 2.6 miles, took almost 40 mins.
WT: 274
Breakfast - warm rice, milk, Cinnamon and sugar - small bowl.
Took 2 pills after eating.....I forgot them again! Gota work on that.
