Did you do weightwatchers core /momentum ???
It sounds a lot like what you are describing .

My husband was a big eater and put on so much weight over the years. He finally broke down this past summer and went with Nutri-System. He lost 50 pounds in 4 month's. He only bought 3 mo's supply and weeded himself off of their meals the 4th month. He has been eating regular meals now for 5 mo's and has kept the weight off. It really helped him to watch how much he eats and what he eats. I hope this helps. FYI, we purchased through Costco and saved a lot.

Every time I did Weight Watchers, I always did the point system (now called Flex, I believe) vs. the Core program -- mainly because I needed to learn portion control. Now I'm not measuring so much but am eating healthier foods and not trying to work in desserts, etc. I've found that just by cutting way back (or down totally) on things like white bread, white potatoes and sugar, I am experiencing no wild cravings. My blood sugar seems more stable, and my moods are elevated,i.e. more normal.

I can't wait to see how I'm looking and feeling after a few months of this!

I use to train people in Weight Watchers. You would never believe the poor statistics they have for their program, and theirs rates better than others. I have studied weight loss and even written a book on the topic I have come to the realization that we have been trained a totally incorrect way to eat. Our diet is fixated on carbs. There is a new approach that is proven to be more successful than any other in clinical trials. It redesigns the body to burn fat at a higher rate than muscle which the traditional diets do. ( dieters die from heart issues alot because the heart is a muscle and they loose too much muscle when they yo-yo diet)

Anyway the Qivana system works and is the most advanced program I know of. I have been using it this last month and I find it easy, and it has nearly eliminated my love handles... I will spare you before pictures but trust me it wasnt pretty. It is a lifestyle approach vs a diet and will beat Nutrisystem or WW any day. It isnt a loose fast approach but a system to make your body work better. I feel great and I have lost. A server in Olive Garden saw me the other day, after a 1 month period and commented I had lost weight.

I know the desire to be trim is great we all want to look our best. there is a good and safe way now. and it will train you to not do the things that have creted the largest numbers of obeses children in history, or the 3 of 4 Americans are now over weight.... What the country is promoting DOES NOT WORK. The food pyramid is a disaster, PM me if you want something that does work.

What you seem to have figured out on your own is very similar to WW Core
but they do not call it that anymore. It is not so much counting calories as
eating very heathy food with a few counted foods that are not on the CORE
list. They have Momentum now which is like the old Core but I don't
know if they have changed it any.

I know a 16 year old that lost 50 pounds by following Core and did
not have to count or measure. It is very healthy.
