So sorry for everything you and your fur baby are going through. Hope tonight is better for her.

Hopefully you can keep her hydrated even if it means forcing fluids with a syringe. The the vet. suggest an electrolyte replacement while she is not eating? I used an all breed electrolyte replacement when my lab was refusing to eat/drink. I think it helped more than nothing at all.

Hope Fiona has a better night tonight, and you too. Think positive.

MC, just seen your thread,

As a HUGE mastiff fan Marley & me send you lots of positive thoughts from England for your lovely girl Fiona, and I really feel for you .

We have been there with a previous one of our babies and remember all too vividly struggling to get him in to our car

The giant breeds are the best but my goodnes they break your heart so much when you see them unwell.

Please keep us all posted.

hugs

Well she is certainly in a better place today. The vet came this morning at 8 and we quietly put her to rest. She went very easy without the drama that was so much a part of her unique personality. She was always so sensitive and even the smallest repremand would send her to her favorite corner or she would throw herself down and place her head in her paws and pout. She was a princess for sure. 5 years is not enough time and they say God takes the best first, but the time she spent with us she was well pampered and very much loved. Thank you all so much for your prayers and your thoughts. God bless your pets and their people they own.
