Arguably even weirder than the woman who married herself or the man who married his pillow: An Australian man has married his dog. Joseph Guiso wed Honey, a 5-year-old labrador, in Toowoomba this week, the Chronicle reports.

I can understand it. They're better than spouses. They adore us. They never disagree with us. They're always happy to see us. We could go on and on.

But the man said that he married his dog because he didn't feel it was right to live together under the same roof without being married. That's the strange part.

And the article mentions and links to stories of people marrying bridges, fences, pillows, etc.

I know,! That's the OTHER strange part! He says in the article that he assured everyone that it's not sexual. Just the mention of it freaked me out.

LOL! I agree! I am very weirded out by even the mention of a "sexual" relationship.

MAK: I would argue that joking about it and actually having a ceremony with 30 guests and a honeymoon afterward are 2 different things!
