I am so sorry to read about what you and your baby are going through. I got a friend a sympathy card that read, "We may want them with us always but they have a way of letting us know when it's their time to go to sleep with the angels." I hope she gets better, but if it is her time, you (and she) know you have her an amazing life.

((Hugs)) to you and your sweet Rottie girl. So sorry to hear that she isn't doing so well. I hope that you and her get to spend many more joyous days together than you think. Blessings to you both.

Sillypups I am so sorry to hear about your old girl. I hate to say it but I have come to trust that inner voice about such matters to the extent that I do feel that voice may be God as it is rare if ever that it is wrong I also have lost all my dogs to cancer in the past and they have been mixed breed dogs and it is always so sad. Know that all of us are thinking of you and sending you and your hubby and the pooches big hugs. Sorry that this is happening during the holidays too.

The last best thing we can do for our furbabies is to let them go painlessly and with dignity. I have held many a paw during this process over the last 45 yrs. It's always peaceful <<hugs>>

I'm so sorry to hear about your girl. It is hard to watch them get old and have issues that we aren't able to do anything for them. My prayers and good thoughts are with all of you.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. She knows she is loved and that is the important thing. It is never easy seeing our furbabies like that and I will keep you and your sweet Rottie girl in my thoughts and prayers.

Someone on this board once wrote to me the loveliest and most helpful thing about our pets' final times-
"It is a rare grace to give a loved one a good death."
That really helps me.

Thank you everyone.
Tues. is her vet appt. We will know more then.
It's always too soon to let them go...but our Rotty boy died of CHF/cancer less than a year ago. So it really is too soon.
When it is time I am always with our babies. I want my voice to be the last voice they hear.
Some how that helps me grieve.

Trying to stay as postive as we can without crossing over to not excepting what is around the corner.
I just wish just 1 time our dogs would die from old age.

Thank you everyone.
