As you can see it has the steering [tiller] in front. Since the doctors want me to walk around my apt I do not qullify for a [electric] wheel chair. I have a bad right arm or I would only qullify for a reg wheelchair. I have arthris in my body, in my back it pinches the spine & my legs go numb leaving me parrilized from the waist down. On good days I can stand/walk for 15 min but my legs shake like jello.

Katie, thanks, I figured it out by looking up scooters.

Maybe we'll luck out and someone with scooter experience will give us some pointers.

Thanks anyway...I have called trainer that were AKC judges & UKC judges. I have called AKC & UKC this has them stumped. Now this was 5 years ago. They sugest I show but I'll have points off on a lot, which means I increase my chances of NQ Sorry personly I feel that is totally unfair. Not just to me but everyone. When Stevie & I went for her UKC CD I lost points on the heel because neither of us could change pace as both of us had arthris. I was willing to do that but now with Katie no! I really felt with all Stevies work waiting for me she deserved the title. She was so proud our 'show friends' gave her a round of applass she just strutted herself!

Other than changing pace, what do they count off for?

I see people doing it all the time. I'll have to ask next time there's an opportunity. Good luck!

Katie, look into Rally-O. They're not as strict about perfect front sits, for example. And there's often a bonus exercise at the end, so you can make up a bunch of points on the bonus if you lost any during the course. Check into it. It's far more laid back than regular obedience.

If you are talking about using the scooter...chg of pace...fronts & finish to name a few. Plus the scooter would block seeing katie for the most part. & takes wider turns.
south I might think about it as an alturnative to setting at home or gettin out again.
