Thank you for posting this LTTP.

Its unfortunate that legislators in most states can modify and gut any bill passed by voters and manipulate it in any way they see fit. The only recourse...

If you live in Missouri, contact your friends, relatives and acquaintances and THEN contact your state legislators. Let them know that you voted to end the suffering of dogs in puppy mills in Missouri and you expect them to do their job and represent YOU and your interests. Have them introduce an amendment that reinstates ALL the provisions that passed last November. Let them know that if they don't, you will be shopping for new representation come the next election cycle. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!

i could NOT believe his remark towards the end where he said that he thought being known as a puppy mill state was an ASSET to missouri.....

and oh yeah.... you better believe that my senator and state representative AND the governor know EXACTLY my thoughts on this subject.....

I have to wonder who the heck these people think they are? Keep fighting them...they're supposed to represent the people and clearly they are not..

Nothing gets attention of senators more than negative press from voters. I wonder if Parson would like a few math lessons. Like how many committed voters does it take to start an action to reverse the gutting of this bill?

ONE - from there it can snowball just like the bill did.

Do you know LTTP, if a facebook site or petition has been started yet to tell the legislators to get their heads out of their hind ends and do what the voters wanted them to do?

I love my state, but sometimes it just makes me shake my head in shame. And I'm a Conservative.
