That is absolutely wonderful! Maybe people in the area will learn to respect more dogs and value them for what they are - Man's Best Friend! Or, in this case, a little boy's best friend.

That's AWESOME!

Watchman, you know that the dog deserves Doritos for a job well done, right?

So glad the little boy was found safe thanks to the loyalty of his dog. I'm having trouble w/ a 22 mth old going to get some juice and not coming back. I mean, did the mom think to maybe check on him, or was she just too busy w/ her boyfriend to not really notice how long he was gone?

Mr. Watchdog is a Dorito-a-holic. He readily admitted it on the Food forum. I couldn't help myself but mention DORITOS here -- I knew it would get him in a tizzy.

What an incredible story...that dog is a better parent than the kid's own human mother...who lets a toddler wander unsupervised at ANY time? They get into EVERYTHING, even I know this and I've never even given birth. Eegads !

@ Watchman57 & DandJ...the aforementioned snack is an addiction that has afflicted many of us...I, too, was a Dorito-holic (strictly nacho, no cool ranch for me) for many years.
It was a difficult and teaful good-bye ...
Doritos are no longer part of my life, but that zesty cheese flavor is something I will always remember fondly, and the good times we shared will always be in my heart !
