The other night I woke up at 2 a.m. and sensed I was in bed with more than just the dogs. Toward the end of the bed I could see a tuft of fur and a long thick tail from the glow of the television and said, "WTH?!!" and turned on the nightstand light and whipped the covers back only to be greeted by...a REAL live possum. Seems my new dog, aptly named Possum, had decided to adopt and care for this baby possum and brought it into the bed. I had to quickly come up with a makeshift catch and release program using an old dog food bag and releasing it over the fence so she wouldn't get it again. It just sealed the deal calling her Possum was the right name.

LOL - I've found a lot of strange things in bed with me over the years but I have to admit - never a live possum. Great story!

Oh- and BTW...your "Possum" is adorable! I love the grin!

I just love these dog stories!!!!

Here is one of many on my BIG lovable dog. My dog loves to ride in our backhoe.....the look of pure bliss on his face is priceless. He also likes a little beer every now and then (don't worry I've checked with the vet on this) if anyone believes in reincarnation my dog must have belonged to the Teamsters Union at one time.
