Am I "tooting my own horn" by posting this?

I thought for those that are not following Tad's recovery on Facebook, that you might like to see how he is doing. This is an article that I wrote about him for the Best Friends Animal Society website.

I was introduced to Tad here at City-Data back in March and have been following his progress ever since. I've friended him on FB, and I love to hear about how well he's doing. The photos are amazing! Proof, indeed, that the appropriate caregiving and love can transform an abandoned, neglected dog into a vibrant and healthy family pet.

And Va-Cat, your article was wonderfully written. I got teary at the very end. :-)

WOW! I can't believe that's the same dog! And he's such a camera hound! I love how confident and happy he looks--he must know that a lot of love comes from having his pictured taken Thanks for the update!

Actually I understand that the family shot was somewhere around picture 104 Every try to get unruly kids to sit still for a picture? Now add an extra set of legs to each one and see what happens! However long it took - He is a beautiful boy and I know they will have a long and wonderful life together!

Thank you everyone for the kind remarks. As a somewhat new writer (at least to the Internet) I really appreciate it!

Excellent work on the article !

I've been following Tad's progress on FB as well, and am so thrilled at how amazing and healthy he looks...he's like a whole new dog now, all because of an Angel named Tiffany .
