Default a dog accident finally solved!!!

Lucy, the 9 year old Bichon has been having lose accidents in every bathroom in the house. At least she knows to go in the bathroom.
No change in her diet, she does not run free outside. What could it be?

Finally we figured it out. We have been experimenting with canned cat foods for our two Ragdolls and Lucy loves to snack in the litter box. So her diet has been changed, in a round about way. And the change does not agree with her.

I scoop out the litter every day at least twice but there are 2 trays in the bathroom upstairs which DH is supposed to be keeping clean. He admits he has not been diligent about it so that is where Lucy has been.

Now we will be more attentive to all the trays and I'll bet Lucy won't be having anymore accidents.
How does she know to use the bathroom? I appreciate her limiting her accidents to those rooms.

I am glad you found the problem. I would make it so your Lucy has zero access to the cat litter. That's how I have it in my house and I wouldn't have it any other way.
