Thanks Sam I am trying. And yes I realize they may still be put to sleep, but I did find out I am not the only one trying. In the past I rescued Rotties so I am not blind about this, but really stumped that the FEDS are involved..& on that I am not the only 1 wondering. & Why are they hiding the dogs? Sam these are questions that I do not expect you to answer just wondering...thanks again katie1
If you ask me I think the Feds already disposed of the dogs. They aren't in the business of nurturing and raising puppies, and as for the adult fighters? Imprinting is already in them and they will always have it though I believe the feds deep 6'd the dogs already. And if they didn't yet they should. Putting imprinted fighting dogs out there would be too controversial and dangerous.
PBMommie You sure don't need any more your hands are full enough as it is. & I love that you took the last as a rescue. I agree 100% with you on PETA I always disliked them. As a breeder they would put me down but then weekly I would get these flyers from them 1st in my real name & 2nd in my kennel name!! But what really freaked me out was last year when Steve Irwin [crock hunter died] they actually said how great it was the animals got him! He was now dead & should rot in h*** !! Nasty people.
Please explain??? Dogs have served in the military since WWI & the 1st dog was a pit bull & the 1st with rank was a pit & the 1st honored was a pit...Sorry please explain your consern.

I dont think PBM can breed from neutered dogs, maybe she was making an example.
Katie, although Pits do make great drug sniffers, guard dogs isnt what they are known for. My Staff runs the fence like a machine, and when people get in its all licks, its the same for most 'pit' types. As sniffers etc, they have to be working with other dogs around, and for fighting dogs I dont think that can be done tbh.
She is concerned the dogs could be sold to medical laboratories for experimentation with medication or to study their brain or whatever. These dogs don't make it out alive.
Where's the confusion on that? I think I must have missed something.
The Feds wont keep them, im not worried about experimentation.
