What kind of dog do you think I am? I'm slender, about 25 pounds, as tall as I am long, have a beautiful red fur coat, and look so much like a fox, that people on the street ask if I am one. I don't remember what kinds of dog my Mup and Pup were, so I don't know what breed I am. I rescued the Webbs a couple of months ago, and we are all so lucky to be a forever family!

YEAH! I can see the photo. Rusty, you are a handsome boy, love your white tipped tail, but I'm not sure what you are.

Oh wow, what an absolutely gorgeous dog! What a beautiful coat and markings. I'm going to venture a wild guess that your Rusty has some Spitz in his background..basing that on the shape of his head and his brush-y tail. For the color, might even have a pinch of Chow somewhere, too. Any black spots on his tongue?

Okay, I've absolutely got it now--your Rusty is a Spitz/Basenji mix! Prove me wrong!

Oh and I forgot, Rusty has a smidgeon of Red Heeler hiding in the family tree, too.

hes beautiful...i definatly see potential for shiba inu, finnish spitz, possibly some cattle dog or rat terrier type in there (to account for the eyes and those ears)

id say your dog is very likley at least 5 different breeds in the make up and probably many more! hes a pretty biy though and what a beautiful color, its rare to see such a rich red outside of the setters, hes definatly a chestnut!

One of the most unusual looking dogs I have ever seen. Don't really have a good guess but wouldn't shock me if he has some basenji (the coloring), cattle dog?, chow (big head), canaan dog, spitz...

Oh wait, I've got it!!! He's actually my favorite breed of all time:
A good old All-American-Mutt.

can't put my finger on it, but something says to me there's some heeler in there (australian cattle dog) .... do you have any pictures of him standing up and from the side?? i don't see any ticking in his fur, so not sure what else is in there.....

does he try to herd you when y'all are out running around and playing??
