Wow! That's impressive for her size frame. I'm sure you all worked hard on this and now her bones and joints thank you! I noticed the way she was sitting...her hips will be better off with the weight loss. Was this just over eating/lack of exercise or hypothyroidism?
I know it's not easy, having adopted a senior dog sight unseen off the internet. He was 92 pounds when we first went to the vet. It took nearly a year but eventually he got down to 48 pounds, could run again, get up on the bed and couch etc. He was a much happier dog and it showed in his behavior.
Good job!!! I know how hard weight loss/exercise can be for our furry babies and us humans who have to lose a few...sucks, but the pay off is great! Does she have a pair of new skinny jeans picked out, lol?
