she is the only AB our vet will allow to roam free in his office and also to be unmuzzled. they cannot get over how nice she is and how well she gets along with other dogs/cats. they did muzzle her the first time we took her up there, but after her weeks' stay they don't see the need anymore.
during that stay they had her laying in the main trauma room since it was large and she could be out of the way. since she could not walk they just fixed her a bed out of the main walk way and she would watch everythign all day long. her last day there they had a bunch going on and she did not like the noise, so she just got up and walked out the room. the docs were in the middle of working on a dog that had been hit by a car, and they just froze and looked at her in disbelief.
here she is recouperating from her surgery. Sorry for the crappy pics, they are from my cell phone.
She's simply beautiful. I am partial to the Am Bulldog, Spanky my resident trouble maker and baby-boy...is all that and a bag of chips!
He was "free" but has been worth every penny ever spent. Is a complete comic...and extremely sensitive, if I'm a train wreck, he's by my side checking on me, to make sure I'm okay. He does not like it when I'm upset.
They are my favorite breed and the breed I've never had any aggression problems with. It always makes me sad to see a vet so uneducated that they require a certain breed to be muzzled.
That girl is lucky she wound up at your door. She's gorgeous!!!!!
What a sweetheart Bella looks like, as you are too for taking her in!! I know there is no such thing as a free dog/cat, not unless I can find a sponsor to pay for everything
Thank You!!
