Wow - there but for the grace of God go I. Hopefully the story will generate enough local interest for her to find a home for her whole family!

Oh my gosh...

It's incredulous how people treat each other.
And it's fabulous how some people treat their dogs.

I hope some one sees that and is willing to give her and her animals a home. So sad .

This lovely lady and her pets are about 35 minutes from us in another town. I think it was last night they updated this story on the news, which was the 1st time I had heard of it. As a rule, I try not to watch the news too often. Anyway, the local news updated this story to say someone stepped forward to rent to her and her pets! And that she has already moved in! A local police department filled her car up with gas too, so that she could make her way to her new home.

We talked about this story on our jog today. If we had a rent house we would have rented to her in a heart beat. Then of course I would check on her often. I love our senior population. My dogs and I volunteer weekly at a dementia living center. I've always said I would rent to a person with pets over kids any day as long as the pets were spayed/neutered. We too would have done just what she did. My life would be miserable with out my furry kids. The lady likely has already had several loses in her life and these furry kids were the only sense of family and stability she has left.

I just thought I would update you all with some good news!
