My dog's name is Tazz and we've had him since November of 2002. We rescued him from the local SPCA and when we got him, the card said "Cocker Mix". Well, we've never been able to figure out what kind of mix he is. By his temperment and his looks, our vet said that he is Cocker Spaniel mixed with something. He gets seperation anxiety and chases anyone who walks out the door and he acts like he is going to tear them apart (but its all for show). He is very clingy and is very overprotective of myself and my daughter. He isnt fond of my husband...lol He has an aggressive personality and we've put him in training for it and its gotten alot beter.

Here are some pictures. These are pictures of him trimmed up nicely. When we let his hair grow out, it gets really long on his legs, his chest, his ears, and in between his toes...lol Thanks for looking!!!

He is beautiful!!!He is really adorable. Why not try dog dna test? It doesn't cost that much - so far the prices I've seen were $60-$130. Have you ever thought about that? But he is so beautiful.

I think Golden Retriever.

The clue is in the face. That's not a cocker face.

Here's a cocker/golden mix with the same eyes as your dog but more of a cocker nose:

Here's a cocker/golden mix with a smililar head, nose and eyes:

ohhh he's darling!
I think he's a cocker/springer ....or springer/king charles ...they have those ears. Do the test.
He doesn't have drooply(sp) cocker eyes, that's why I lean more towards springer and he has a springer tail and a leaner springer body.

He is lovely! he looks very much like a Brittany Spaniel but with lighter colored spots than they usually have.
