My old dog who plays like she is still a puppy likes to sleep on a warm rice pack for her sore joints, yours may like the rice pack or a heating pad to help for a while.

I'll have to get a heating pad. Good idea.

Both my dogs had lime and at least one of their legs went lame until the antibiotics started to kick in. It's so sad because they look at you when unable to walk and they don't understand. I had to carry them outside for a while. They should fully recover with the meds and I think rest and a warm blanket will help.

I was carrying him up and down two flights of stairs to go outside but he seems to have his spunkiness back and is playful again. Now I'm trying to get rid of another dog's eye infection. He was fine one day and the next his left eye looked like he was blind and out of focus. Shih Tzu's always have eye and ear issues and this dog always has the same ear and eye. Three days after antibiotic drops, his eye is much better. Has anyone found something to counteract yeast infections in their ears?
