I've been trying all day not to post this, but this story just tees me off like no other. How can people be so darn STUPID to leave a puppy alone in a car. No, the dog did not die in a hot car, she was stolen and made to fight. It's a miracle she was found alive. But she is seriously injured not only with bite marks, but cigarette burns, too.

If you can't take your dog with you into an establishment, LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME!!!. I don't think this family deserves to get this poor dog back.

wow, this post reeks of blame the victim mentality

hundreds of thousands of dogs get left in cars each day while people are on errands, etc... and they don't get stolen

I'd think a LOCKED CAR is a safer place to leave a dog than say alone in the backyard....

Didn't we already have this fight?

I agree with the above post, as do (it seems) the majority of dog owners around the world.

I move to ban taking ipads for rides in cars. Since the thief stole their ipad as well, and everything that happened to the poor dog at his hands suggests that he probably looked at porn or stole credit cards or trolled forums with the ipad. Can't believe that familys nerve to leave it right there for him.

When I think about it, this IS kinda similar to "Wear hot pants and you may get raped".

Don't be so ridiculous. If you leave a defenseless puppy in a car while xmas shopping, you're just asking for it to get stolen.

And yes, it's the owner's fault. Idiots, and others who don't believe that.

You're being as ridiculous as the previous poster. An ipad is not a live being. That dog is. If the ipad dies, so what? It's not hurt. And it's the owner's fault for leaving it in the car.

No it's not, not even close. Don't be so senseless.

Do you people honestly believe it's a good thing to leave your pet in the car alone? That's just stupid if you do.

Agreed, it is the owners fault. We would never leave a small dog alone in the car while we shopping. That is just stupid.
