In another site I am a member of some one posted this:

Angry owners sue Petco over grooming gone bad | Pets - Yahoo! Shine

This Petco Groomer Did NOT just give thes dogs a Bad HairDo they Cut Off Ears & Tails!!

So IF your dog comes home with the Wrong hair cut PLEASE remember not only could it be worse but Hair does Grow back

I guess the would lose their tails in a trial if it were my dog.

I groom the peke at home, I bathe him every week, I do a puppy cut with pet clippers myself and trim him every few weeks...
It's not hard to learn and your pet is more comfortable..

How often do we hear about things of this nature? Not too often. I would say it's an isolated case. (At least I would hope so!)

Although, I would check over my pet each time after picking them up...just saying!

I personally do my own grooming but when I use to take mine in, I took them to my sister. You have to take them to who you can trust, not just anyone.

IMHO...

I have yet to find a vet that I like or even cares about my animals without sounding too generic. Grooming I do myself nothing like building a bond and trusting relationship.

I hear ya.....

Our good vet retired and sold his practice a few years ago.

Things have never been the same.

I also do the grooming on our dogs.
