Hello everyone!

My BF has a beautiful white boxer named Aphex, and we noticed her left eye has been irritated...at first, we thought maybe she got something in it when she went outside to do her business (it gets super windy here, so that's always a possibility), but after flushing/warm compressing, it still isn't right. Our friend who is a vet tech said it could possibly be a "boxer ulcer", and that it's pretty common...we have an appointment with the optometrist in the morning, but I was just curious...has anyone else had this happen to their boxer, and is it a recurring thing even after treatment? She mentioned grafting of some sort...OUCH! That sounds painful, and I'm worried...she's such a sweet girl, and trouble just always seems to find her....
