Yup it seems Odie's bark is coming back. Odie is my beloved Swedish Vallhund who was a breeder buy back re-home. When the breeder got him back she discovered he'd been de-barked.

So anyway, I noticed Odie's bark is getting louder, no it's not a normal loud bark but has more volume than before.

I did put a call into my Vet because after doing some 'net reading it means scar tissue is forming and this often happens the only concern is it might cause problems.

I'd love to have Odie with his bark back!!!!

LOL Thanks but I'll just be happy for Odie, I neglected to mention how I discovered this...he's started a new habit I'm not happy about. I'm now working a 3-11pm shift so I get home around 11:30pm and after walking the dog and feeding me a snack I generally don't get to sleep much before 1am. Soooooooooo Mr. Odinator's brand new habit is to start barking at 5AM to wake me up to play...he doesn't seem to be on my schedule But it's because of this I had my duh light bulb moment and realized his bark is getting louder. So thanks for wanting to "share" your dogs bark but I've got plenty thanks.

Oh no! It's so tough readjusting their schedules, even by half an hour (hear that, Artie... 4.30 AM is NOT quite wake-up time for everyone), but I know that Odie is smart enough to get it sooner rather than later.
