At age 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, Davey-Long-Legs hiked his leg on a bush.......

has always squatted like a puppy when he pees and never shown the SLIGHTEST interest in marking anything..... both of which I attribute to being neutered at 8 weeks old......

i wish ... still not really seeing much of that...... he saw some dogs behind fences in their own yards that were half a block away and STILL went bat-shizzle crazy..... i am becoming expert at finding places to walk him where we won't see other dogs.....

Thats the problem with nutering so young. Also I found if thier is only 1 Boy in the family they tend to be late to figure it out....no one to teach them How to be a boy syndrome.

he was raised in a shelter with his 7 siblings, some of whom were boys.... so i'm sure he had plenty of exposure to boys during his 10 months there....

although i absololutely get the spay / neuter before adoption, since bailey hurt her knees and i have done more research, i am not such a fan of the early spay / neuter.... it is a dilemna......

he was 10 months old when i adopted him.... have had him about 2-1/2 years now....

he has never had much self confidence ......
