He does still have some puppy coat left. Starting to get his adult coat coming in. He does still have some baby teeth. LOL He is 7 months. Great dog!

Its fun to watch him grow up! Love the picture of him laying down with/on (I assume) your son.

Out of curiosity...is he a drool monster like St Bernards?

I love Leonberger's. We do Pet Therapy on my unit in the hospital and we have a 4 1/2 yr old Leonberger who comes in. He is wonderful!!! And the patients love him. He has a perfect disposition for Pet Therapy.

This is fortunately one trait that the Leo did not get from the St.
They have tight jowls and no drooling!

You are so right. Dozer is so great with my two boys, 2 and 7 years old. He has never been aggressive in any way. (even when most dogs would have). He is a big teddy bear.
Our Border Collie is good with the kids, i would say more tolerates them. The Leo loves them and is always with them.
