If your eyes are bad...so are mine. I'm seeing Malinois too.

Good call, Dawn. When I looked at the picture before, I was reminded of something that just wouldn't come to me. Malinois!

I'm definitely seeing Malinois.

Here's a pic of Sasha as a pup for comparison;

Here's a view as a young adult;

I don't know but maybe the very rare "Yoda-eared" dog?

Very cute, that's for sure.

I think she is full grown and is a year old. She is still very much like a puppy though. I am starting a training class next week. She is about knee high and about 30lbs. Her ears are always up.

If she's 30lbs at a year I'll modify my guess to Malinois crossbred.

Take full advantage of the training opportunities. Mals are amazing dogs but they need a great deal of socialization, training, and owner involvement in order to grow to their potential. A bored Malinois is never a good thing.

Thanks for the heads up outbacknv.

I'm adding a couple new pictures since I don't think that picture did her justice.

My first thought was bull terrier mix. That's funny, I didn't think anyone else would see it.

She's gorgeous and I'm still seeing lots of Malinois. If I'm right you've lucked into an awesome dog. Their capacity to learn and desire to please is exceeded by very few other breeds.

I've been working with this breed for quite some time and they rarely fail to convince me I've underestimated their abilities and potential.

There's a lot of good Malinois information available here; MalForum -- The Belgian Malinois Discussion Forum - Index
