I cannot believe the owners just sat and watched this happen.

Very good mama dog. The humans, as so many, are deplorable.

That was definitely staged. They knew what the mama dog would do. From the looks of the splash, the pup appeared to be thrown in since it landed in the middle of the pool. No way could it have jumped that far.

If they did throw him in the pool, and then leave him there to get a youtube video...well,if I was that Mama dog I'd go over and bite them. But a dog wouldn't do that. That's why so many people don't think twice about taking advantage of them.

I saw this on the MSN home page this weekend.

I watched it twice:

1. The first time, I was horrified that the people were videotaping and not helping. I felt SICK.

2. The second time, I realized that it was totally staged but I still hated the people who were taping it. And I still felt SICK.

Me too, first time, could not believe my eyes. Watched a couple of times, each time thereafter, something did not seem right. It looked too plan to me, and with the videotaping and all, seemed staged. But just what if, things did not go as they hoped.
I don't like games at a pets expense.

I honestly do not beleive the puppy by himself could have thrown himself into the middle of the pool, and i heard a spalsh. I feel this was staged and if so, not funny, shame on these owners.

Am less than thrilled with it, sure I think the mother dog (?) was the heroine but I think the poor puppy was tossed in the pool and it really ticks me off (no pun intended!), I hope they find something else to videotape and give the poor dogs a break. A fenced around their pool might be a good idea, the puppy might not be so lucky next time especially if he doesnt know where the steps are to climb out.

Give me a break, the dog didn't seem to be in any danger to me. They would have had plenty of time to set the camera down and run over there and pluck the pup out. It's not like it was sinking.

Still a stupid thing to video tape.
