Thanks for reminding us of these dangers to our pets.....get a good dehydrator and dry your own chicken breast...just be sure to properly store it when your finished. Go online and find some healthy "treat" recipes and make your own...it's a labor of love to cook for your fur baby!!

WARNING.. Although WagginTrain says their products are safe. I have some serious concerns. Our 15 year old poodle died a few months ago from symptoms attributed to their Chicken tenders - unfortunately we didn't realize it until our 4 year old poodle became gravely ill last week. Our vet sent me the following link to report the incidents to the FDA. I would encourage anyone out there who has experienced ANY problem to do the same. While WagginTrain is saying there Treats are safe, they will not disclose what plants in China produce their product. Both of the other brands that were recalled were manufactured in 2 different plants in China. It seems highly unlikely there would not be a connection.

I've just recently started buying Jerkey (for training treats), but I buy ONLY that made in the USA and it lists real beef strips with meat sources being the US, Argentina and New Zealand. It's the kind for human consumption, and it seems the best I can find. I believe the brand is caled Ortez (or similar).

I would be very uneasy about any company that won't disclose information about the manufacturing process.

I'll continue to use carrots and other fresh vegetables for treats.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, CarlosMom.
