This morning I was looking for a small package that the email said had been delivered. Figured the Fed Ex guy left it on the covered front porch so it would be out of the rain.
I just had a new, all glass, storm door installed. I opened the inner door and poor Frannie attempted to make a mad dash outside. She doesn't go anywhere, just wants to be with me so if I'm opening a door she tries to get out with me.
BONG! She hit the storm door and bounced back. Quickly scrambling back up on her feet she tried again. Same results.
She then looked up at me with a baffled expression on her sweet face. No harm done to her (or the door for that matter) and soon enough it will have plenty of nose prints and general slobber so it will not look as though there is nothing there.
The front door doesn't get much use so I have to wonder if she will remember the next couple of times I open it.
Oh no, poor Frannie! I can totally picture that. My cousins dog just went through her storm door last year, she has a medium sized dog. Took a vet visit for that incident. I'm sure Frannie will remember soon enough.
I don't remember if I saw it on this forum. If I did, apologies to the OP of that thread -- I would have linked back to you.
