I finally have my schedule where I have some Thursdays off just so I can take the dogs to agility club practice so last night after not having been for a year we went . Dazzle still knows how to do everything but once again he does 2 or 3 jumps and some contact obstacles and or tunnel then refuses that 4th jump and if I try to encourage him he runs over to the side lines and stands watching me with everyone waiting their turn. He also kept popping out of the weave poles at the last 3 then on our last run as we were walking off course he turns and runs back to the weaves and does all 12 by himself and trots back to me so proud of himself.
I guess he is never going to quite understand the whole game so I will just let him do a few obstacles and call it a run.
Chaos who is still in beginning class so I did not expect her to be great but she decided that as she ran through the chute she would tangle herself up in it and jump around, everyone saw that she did it on purpose and when I tried to get her to do it 2X more she stuck her head out at he end turned back around and tangled herself up in the chute.... that was so Dash of her as he loved to get tangled in the chute then jump around. Chaos was super excited when we got there like all the border collies are so she was a bit wild to run with and during our last run I think she thought maybe if Mom got injured she would not have to work for several weeks and stay home with the dogs so she raced in front of me crossing my path and tripping me and taking me down
I fell hard and now my bad knee is hurting again.. I swear Agility use to be fun with Jazz and Dash !
I am beginning to think Chaos is Dash come back but now that spirit can be the wild one it really was as it does not have Jazz to keep it in line. That could explain why I saw that picture and knew she was mine. Don't get me wrong she is not Dash as she is quite different but she has a lot of his quirks and so maybe his spirit is her spirit as the animal communicator did say he said he was coming back to me again.
