They slept all afternoon yesterday and then again all evening and night. Kohla is doing well. His wounds are scabbed over with no sign of serious infection. He is still limping put we are just taking it easy on him.

Thanks again everyone. I miss Molly alreay but know that she will find the perfect home to match her energy level. As for us....there is another dog out there that needs us.
Glad everyone is ok and chillin Cat. Sorry it didn't work out.

I'm sorry too...that things didn't work out. But, you did the right thing in returning Molly to her breeder. Your dogs have to come first and we all know our limits with what we're capable of or willing to do when adding another dog.

I foster a lot and my four dogs are very accepting of whoever comes in...but it has to work the other way too. No way could I do the crate/rotate thing or ever put my own dogs at risk. You did okay here. Everything will work out.

Sad news - sorry to hear it did not work out. At least you caught the problem early and your Kohla is okay. She will find another home and you will find a dog that will work out with yours. You did the right thing.
