Please recommend a Dog Breed ( Non Sheddding )
Hi everybody!
Could you please recommend a good family dog, we have 2 young kids but we are looking for a non shedding dog, good with kids, mid size i guess, 45-90 lbs. a dog thats known to like children yet be protective of the family if needed.
Some told me get an Airedale, others said they are super hyper and are known to tear up homes.
Please help!!

Hey T!
I've encountered some Bichon Frise dogs that were very sweet, and I don't believe they shed.

I have a 2 and 4 year old and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They are noted for their devotion to children, but are useless guard dogs for thehouse etc.

MIL just purchased a Cairn Terrier...(aka: Toto) because apparantly they don't shed....and the rumor is, they don't stink either....

Thanks for the info! We were wondering if anybody knows anything about the breed " Soft coated Wheaten Terrier " I have been reading up on this breed but i dont know anybody who owns one. From what i'm reading they sound like a good family dog.
The dogs everybody mentioned above look nice, but we were looking more for a larger breed, i guess no less then 35 lbs.

fantastic patience with kids
pretty good bitter with the bad guys
