In most of Oklahoma you pay a licensing fee in the larger cities, smaller ones not so much. Maybe a 5.00 fee for a spayed/neutered animal, and 15.00 for an unneutered one. Hawaii I hear has a pretty good import fee on animals though. Roughly 200.00 per pet you take over. They don't play around, you have to have all the vaccines and bloodwork done beforehand or they get to spend 30 days in quarantine, which is why it's so expensive to move your pets there.
We pay $10.00 per year, regardless of the breed, for animal licensing. In order to get that license, we must provide proof or an updated rabies vaccine, which runs another $15.00 or so.
Thank you everybody!
Every your answer is very valuable for me.
Your government is cleverer then mine.
For example: In the USA you should pay about 1% from your salary, our is dreaming about 10%
Mostly You should pay tax for a dog, we - for any animal (in dreams of our bureaucrats) and I am worry about they dreams.
Your streets more cleanly than ours.
In my opinion (from the center of the Russia) you government don`t only take off your money but they give to your pets good long life with you and a good veterinarian care.
Thank you!

We worry about what our bureaucrats are dreaming just as much as you do.
My dogs are licensed by the county. It looks like this: a license is good for the duration of your rabies vaccine so if you get the yearly shot you get a 1 yr license if you get the 3 yr vaccine you get a 3 yr shot. and No the senior discount is for senior people not senior animals
spayed/neutered intact Then for seniors 65+ spayed/ neutered intact

In my opinion, you don`t must worry. People in your country not too patient like russian, and your government will hear your voice if you not satisfied with they work - unfair decision.

It is very cognitive and informative facts to me.
There are no licenses for dogs or cats where I live. They're certainly not universal in this country.
Right, a county license in CA is voluntary, but you have to stay up to date with rabies vaccines or do titer testing. They won't check unless your dog bites someone, then you can get in trouble if you don't have current records.
But there’s also another offense drivers in New Jersey could find themselves facing – failure to restrain their dog or cat. And unlike the measly $50 fine for not wearing their seat belt, this one can cost much, much more. Up to $1,000 in Fines, Six Months in Jail

Our dogs are fixed, and we just paid $5.00 for each license, as seniors!
