Do you know the dog that bite her? You want to make sure it is up to date on it's shots. If its not to bad clean it out and keep and eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.
Luckily my dogs wound healed and was okay. I know how you feel, it is your child and can't stand to see them in pain. Keep us posted.

Hi Janipoo,
It is normal for you to be concerned about your dog, and you should be. However, I believe your dog is fine physically.
From past experience, our neighbors German Shepherd somewhat attack our 7 lbs Maltese.
Our Maltese was in our front lawn playing and our neighbor was taking out the trash with his dog and the German Shepherd spotted our dog and started darting towards him.
Poor thing got frightened and started running straight down the street for dear life screaming at the top of his lungs. (death cry) However, our neighbor's dog has not touched him but chasing after him. Eventually, it did not take long for our neighbor's dog to catch up to him and took a nice bite out of him but luckily let him go after his owner came running and yelling after him.
Long story short, our dog lived through the horrendous event.
Had a bite mark near its ear but nothing serious. We believe he was just trying to play with our dog, but our dog got scared and reacted in a negative way.
He had a scab for a week or so and eventually fell off.
Hopefully, your little one is fine.
Good luck!

What you do depends upon the type of wound. If it's a deep puncture wound it may be a good idea to see a vet to avoid the possibility of an abscess. If it's a minor cut, keep it clean and dry and it will probably heal fine. When in doubt, seek vet advice.

I have used neosporin on my dogs; however, when I told my vet I was using neosporin, he told me to stop immediately! He said that neosporin can kill your dog if ingested.

If in doubt, would take him to the vet, it's hard to tell online. He probably needs more vacc's soon so maybe you can bring him in soon and have the vet check his ear out (if it's looking nasty or if it seems to be bothering him, take him in sooner). Would also make sure to keep them separated when they're eating - different bowls on opposite sides of the kitchen - both s/b allowed to eat in peace w/o becoming nervous or being pestered by the other (don't free feed, put their bowls down for 5-10 minutes or so 2x a day (maybe more since your puppy is so young) and pick them up after 10 minutes. You might want to feed your girl 3x a day too so she doesnt feel she's getting gypped (just feed her less b/c you dont want her to gain weight). Be careful with bones too as sometimes they can get possessive. Good luck.
