I am a happy dog, First trip to the beach and I love it...humm wonder if I can move in with Dazzle and Chaos???

No dogs were harmed to take theses photos but fun was had by all ! The Golden was visiting me with my friend from Northern CA and yes this was her first time on the beach!

Is the black and white dog a borzoi ? it sure looks like it . I happen to love the wolfhound breed such as the irish wolfhound and the borzois (russian wolfhounds ) . Love that breed . great pics btw .

Black and white dog is my Dazzle and he is a Silken Windhound which is a breed that was created using Borzoi and long haired whippets in an attempt to reduce the size and have a Borzoi like dog. Very cool breed and in the process of getting accepted into the AKC ( though I myself do not see that as a good thing) The breed can be found in many places in the States and Europe now but was created in Texas by a Borzoi breeder. Also the first breed to have a complete Genome on file as UC Davis collects the genes of all Silkens born! Having this info on the breed can help all breeds in the future!

Thanks I figured it is August now ( can any of you belive that?) time to put a smile on everyones face and what better way then photos of dogs at play? My favorite is #2 "the Mirror" as I love the lighting and everything about that shot!
