I recently moved in with my fiance and our 6 year old female pug is beginning to mark on everything. She marked on my clothing but also marked on a shower curtain that was on the floor and a chair cover that was also on the floor. I don't recall this happening before I have stayed over with my fiance but this is the first time I have moved in with all my belongings. Do you think this has something to do with the changing household dynamics? If so how can I prevent this behavior?

stress can definatly play a part...sounds like shes trying to make the house "hers"
is she spayed?
id say a vet check is in ordr, generally "sudden" change in potty habits can signal a health issue.
rule out health problems, get her spayed if shes not already, and then once all else is "clear" start retraining her as if she was a puppy...cant be trusted unsupervised, then she doesnt get free acess to anything in the house crate her when you cant supervise her 100% and tether her when your home...dont give her a chance to mak a mistake...if shes having "accidents" no matter what the cause shes not being supervsed closely enough.

i know at 6 yrs we expect to be able to sit back with out trained dogs and relax...but unfortunatly this isnt always the case.

just be sure ot rule out UTI/Kidney/liver issues before assuming its a bheavioural problem.
