Caya sounds nice.

'Caya' ...like 'Hiya'...the karate kick thing?
Similar pronunciation?

My wife's from Mexico... so she'd appreciate that.

I have always wanted to name a dog "Stella"...... Or "Puttanesca". And call her "Nessie" for short.

Not sure why my 'reply' never came up....posted it ten minutes ago...but Caya sounds cool.
My wife is from Mexico, so maybe she'll agree to that. ...is it pronounced 'Caya'...
sorta like like 'Hi-Ya!' the karate kick?

Also, forgot to mention she has 'Golden Eyes'. ....My wife wants to name her 'Golden Eyes'.
Can you imagine? Seriously.....Imagine....."Goooolden eeyes?? C'mere Goooleden Eyyees!!"
And the dog doesn't listen.....*sigh* pickled walnut I tell ya.

Anyways, good suggesstions so far, please, keep them coming, this is SO much better then googling
''female dog names". Which is just silly.

Edit:
Had a dog named 'Pepper' before, a Schnauzer (sp?), would be kinda weird naming this dog that.
Stella! Steeelllaaaa!.....I'll feel like Marlon Brando. No offense. Thanks for the suggestion though.

That's exactly why I've always wanted a female dog named Stella! I've known a few Stellas, and I'm sure that's how they got their name.
Golden Eyes could always be Goldie.

I'd be of no help because I love old lady names for dogs. LOL

I used to have a Beatrice and then I got another female I named Ramona (so I had Beezus and Ramona).

I think Caya sounds cool, though, especially for her breed.

Rather than a human name how about something a bit different? (if it fits her)

We named one of our dogs after his overwheming urge to put everything (including human body parts) into his mouth. We called him "Gator"

Since your girl has a crooked tail .... how about "Bently"?

Bently is an excellent suggestion, but it's a boy's name, not that anyone (but us) would notice. lol.
I wonder if there is a feminine version of Bently? Hmmm. Bentlessy? lol. Bentessy? Bentessy?? Come here Bentesssy!
Hm, that sounds weird.
Having named my own children, I know a name sticks, and it's important.

Goldie sounds cool, too. But her main feature is this bent (expletive) tail. I guess that shouldn't matter,but...
Goldie is up on the List now. Sounds a little precocious. No offense. I like it though, hmmm.

MAN, Ahhh, I hate the internet, I always come off as an *******.
Excuse me for cursing.

Well. Anyways...

Bent tail, hmmm, trying to work that into the mix.
Main feature. And ridiculous, silly behavior.

I just had to wrestle her down in the back yard to get her inside.
Well, not really 'wrestle', but chase and capture. She thought it was a game... *sigh*
We have a wooden fence with holes, can you imagine me limping street to street trying to 'capture' this dog?
Jeez.

Anyhooters...

You guys and gals are GREAT, I wouldn't have thought of any of these names myself.
Google is worthless. Pretty much. 'Casino'??? What the heck? 'Cinnamon'????!
hahah. Yeah.

I like this though.. Thanks.
Keep 'em comin'....please.
I need all the help I can get.

They say every dog needs a flea....and this is keeping my mind off other troubles.

So....thanks ya'll.

EDIT: Gator is a bit too tough sounding for this dog.
I don't know if she was abused (crooked tail?) but she's scared of her own shadow...I call her 'name' and she runs like Hell's fire....so Gator would seem .....'strange'. for her. Just want to find something quick so she can get used to it and trust us. We're in for the long haul. This is OUR dog. Heaven help us.now. lol.

I wasn't suggesting Gator for your girl - I was just using it as an example of a name we gave our dog because of his behavior

. Since she has ridiculous, silly behavior....how about Sunny?
