Bob is a beautiful dog. had a neighbor who named his GSD Bob Barker and always called him by his full name. And he didn't even bark that much. he named him in honor of TV Bob Barker.

He's a good looking GSD. Our dogs have always hated baths. Even our Golden who loves to play in water, will run if a bath is in store. While they will avoid if they think a bath is in store for them, once trapped in the bathroom they became resigned and would get in the bathtub on command. We now have a walk-in shower, so it's much easier to bathe them.

Speaking my love language! A well trained Shepherd makes my heart melt. They are wonderful, loving, and beautiful dogs. *sigh* I think I'm going to go home and give my GSD a big hug.

Both Bobby and I thank you for the many compliments.
He is as smart as he is good looking.
Tremendous watch dog.
I think the strangest thing about this bath was, as I said, he ran into the house, tail wagging, and hoped into the tub.
By the time I reached the tub, he was sitting in the water waiting for me with a look on his face like "what took you so long"?
He will be four years old this Saturday.
Bob.

Usually, I am more of a fluffy dog person than a big, strong, no nonsense dog person, but your GSD is as beautiful as they come, and it sounds as if he has an awesome temperament!

At this moment, he is acting inquisitive, and I couldn't resist taking this picture.
He definitely can have his moments.
If someone were to raise their arm, and try to swing at me, he would be up and on them quicker than you could say it.
I know this from experience as one night one of my friends was visiting, and he playfully tried to swing at me, and Bobby lunged at him, ready to take him on.
Other than water, there are only two other things he does not like, that being cats, and other dogs.
Oddly enough he seems to like being next to the lacuzzi.
When ever we are in it, he usually sits, or lies down next to it.

Bob.
